~ NOBODY EVER TOLD ME ~ THE BOOK

It all started when I was just a little girl, my very first memory of abuse was the babysitter sitting on me covering my nose and mouth after slapping me in the face. "Shut up she said" as the tears rolled down my face into her clutching hand. If you tell your mother I'll do it again. At that tender age I knew If I told my mother, she would never do it again-so I told! At 4 and 5 I began being sexually molested. My last punch in the face was when I was 14 by my alcoholic father. I watched a murder when I was 15. I later began dating a man who secretly smoked crack cocaine who sold everything out the house except the ice cubes if you would've bought them he would've sold them. By the time I was 20 I had a nervous breakdown and my mind slipped away for 3 days. By the time I was 21 I was being raped at knife point on my living room floor by my kids father who was secretly living in my attic for 2 months without me knowing. Needless to say that my entire emotional system went on a downward spiral of years of tormented fear. Now I was facing another chapter of my painful life. Come on this journey with me called life and see how a girl like me who wasn't raised in church or didn't know who God was at all change to be the successful woman that I am today. Come see how God reached way down and saved someone like me who watched my father walk out the front door and my mother's boyfriend sneak in through the back door. You are looking at someone who didn't know not one church song but was raised off of Teddy Pendergrass, Stephanie Mills & Freddy Jackson. When God found me I was stuck he had to come real deep to get me out and when he did, he did something for me that no one had ever done before, he loved me, but he didn't stop there he really picked me up and he turned me all the way around, he took my feet and landed them on a solid ground...I know it sounds like the old faithful baptist song...but for me, my God stepped in and changed my life and I promise you I have never ever been the same since he touched me... whew I feel the excitement now...but because he did this for me I am a forever grateful servant to him...God literally shined his light on me!
